I specialise in sales, Leadership and personal transformation. My work focuses on helping individuals and organisations identify and overcome productivity blind spots, build high-impact sales cultures, and develop coaching-driven leadership. With over 30 years of experience in sales, financial planning, training, coaching and HRD, I bring practical strategies that lead to sustainable growth.

I began my career in 1988 with Pure Beverages Company (Coca-Cola) as a Sales Representative. I expanded my expertise in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and pharmaceutical sectors through my roles at Nestlé Lanka and as a Medical Representative at Hemas Pharmaceutical.

In 1993, I joined Ceylinco Insurance Ltd. and embarked on my first field leadership role, quickly building my team into the Best Agency Team in 1995.

After a successful four-year tenure at Ceylinco, I moved to Eagle Insurance (currently AIA Insurance), where I held multiple roles, including Offshore Sales Manager. During this time, I promoted Eagle Star and Zurich Life Insurance while cultivating a high-performing team that garnered recognition from Eagle Star in Dubai. In 1999, I embraced the role of Field Sales Training Manager.

My journey continued in 2002 when Union Assurance PLC headhunted me to lead their Sales Talent Development initiative during a critical business transformation. My efforts were recognised when I received the prestigious CEO’s Award for driving the leadership academy and developing a robust leadership pipeline. In 2010, I was honoured by IPM Sri Lanka with the ‘International HR Excellence Award for Aligning Learning and Development to the Business.

Having trained thousands of advisors and leaders, I’ve dedicated myself to helping insurance professionals consistently qualify for MDRT, COT, TOT and MDRT Field Leadership Awards.

In 2016, I founded SGlife Academy.
